Position: Guest Experience Guide

(also known as a Splattitude Team Member) 

What You Will Do

• Welcome guests and colleagues from all backgrounds with energy and positivity and ensure a professional, kind, and respectful workplace. Splattitude has a zero tolerance policy for discrimination or harassment.
• Help visitors gear up with safety equipment and explain activity rules
• Reset activity rooms before each session by filling paint cups, washing tools, removing broken items from rage rooms into designated bins while using PPE, and arranging more breakable items or paint supplies into the space
• Disinfect and wash PPE after all sessions
• Monitor cameras during sessions at all times and enforce rules as needed by speaking through cameras to guests
• Stop sessions if safety rules are broken to ensure guest safety
• Take guest photos before all sessions and ensure delivery of photos to guests
• Assist guests with signing release forms for photos
• Assist with creating and posting content on Splattitude social media pages
• Assist with check in, waivers and general customer questions
• Maintain cleanliness of studio and gear including paint supplies, tools and safety gear
• Clean bathrooms, take out trash, sweep and mop lobby and keep common areas tidy
• Help find and source rage room supplies online using tools  during downtime between sessions
• Lift and move heavy items such as furniture or appliances and other large objects as needed for rage room setup
• Work comfortably in messy, noisy environments that may include paint, broken glass, ceramics and other breakable materials
• Always wear and enforce use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as goggles, gloves and coveralls
• Dress professional casual with a Splattitude t-shirt, black pants or jeans, and closed toed non-slip shoes that cannot be penetrated by broken glass
• Support your team in keeping the experience running smoothly so every guest can splatter creativity and unleash rage
• Handle guest questions, complaints or conflicts with professional communication skills and great people skills

What We Are Looking For

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
• Confident personality to enforce safety and rules and stop sessions if necessary
• Comfortable speaking through cameras to guests
• Comfortable working in fast paced, noisy, and messy environments
• Willingness to clean, reset and help with physical tasks including bathrooms, trash, sweeping and mopping
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
• Comfortable using online tools like  to source supplies
• Experience or comfort with taking guest photos and assisting with social media posts
• Ability to enforce safety rules and proper PPE use with professionalism
• Reliable and punctual team player
• Availability to work a part-time schedule
• Professional, kind, and respectful to all colleagues and guests

Preferred but not required
• Prior customer service, retail, food service or recreation experience
• Experience working with the public especially children and families
